Goodbye – From Burkina Faso (VIDEO)

post by Daniel Kolenda on January 30th, 2012

Our Gospel Campaign in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is now over. Hundreds of thousands responded to the call for salvation, many wonderful miracles took place, and the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the multitudes. We are rejoicing! I am just about to meet with some of the local pastors and government officials and soon I will be headed home. But before I go I wanted to share this special video message with you from the field last night. Thank you again for all the prayer and love.

PENTECOST

Pentecost Sunday in Tostdet, Germany

May 23rd, 2010

Just a quick update on the run: yesterday I was preaching in Dusseldorf. Today I am in Tostdet, a little town on the outskirts of Hamburg. Tomorrow I will preach here again, before traveling on to Singapore.

It’s Pentecost Sunday today and so the theme of the services was right up my alley. I must say that the burden of the Lord came over me this morning so strongly as I got up to preach. I was about 1/3 through my message when the Holy Spirit just took over and I can hardly remember anything that was said or done for the rest of the service. All I know is the fire fell!

Italy All Week

March 15th, 2010

Hello Friends,

We have just arrived in Rome a few hours ago where we will be all week. I very rarely get time to visit tourist destinations when traveling, but this time I cannot resist. The sites here are just to historical and fascinating to pass by. We will be visiting the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Catacombs and more. am looking forward to a wonderful week, not only of ministry, but of education as well. I am taking lots of pictures for you while I am here…and every day this week I will post some of them along with my daily devotions. I hope you enjoy it!

Blessings!
Daniel

Interesting Pictures from NUMAN Nigeria

March 7th, 2010

Just a few days ago we held a mass Gospel Campaign in the city of Numan, Nigeria. Over the course of 5 days more than 800,000 people attended the meetings and 557,860 decisions cards were registered from those professing their newfound faith in Christ. You can read the reports from each of the nights below:

As usual, I am posting some interesting pictures that you would not have seen in the normal reports and publications to give you a fascinating “behind the scenes” insight. Enjoy….

“Imagine walking into your room on an EXTREMELY hot day to discover that this is your air conditioner”

Super Wednesday – Yola, Nigeria

February 7th, 2008

Tonight was the first night the Gospel Campaign here in the small, north-Nigerian city of Yola. We were surprised when the crusade director called us from the field early in the evening and said that it was time to come…the people had already gathered. When we arrived over 200,000 people were waiting. What an eager anticipation filled the air. Before Evangelist Bonnke had a chance to pray for the sick the miracles began to happen all over that wide field. A woman crippled for 20 years danced and jumped on the platform to the delight of the cheering crowd. Many cripples walked as wheelchairs and crutches could be seen being lifted high all over the field. It was a glorious start to the crusade here in Yola and I’m sure that the best Is yet to come. Stay tuned.

Abakaliki, Nigeria – Powerful Conclusion

December 10th, 2007

Tonight is the last night of the Gospel Crusade here in Abakaliki, Nigeria. Right now I am standing in the midst of the people in this gigantic crowd of 360,000. Evangelist Bonnke has just finished preaching the Gospel and is now praying for the sick. We have been told that Abakaliki is a tough place for evangelism, but the Lord has broken through, and another mighty harvest of souls has taken place.

Last night I had the opportunity to preach the Gospel again. I also prayed for the people to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and prayed for the sick. There was a mighty flood of salvation and healing. Tonight a witch doctor testified that last night he and his whole family received Jesus. They burned their witchcraft items in the big barrels and have confessed Jesus as savior.

Everyone Who Calls on the Name of the Lord Will Be Saved!

December 8th, 2007

Tonight the crowd grew to 200,000! I preached to the people about calling upon the name of the Lord…and call they did. Before I could get to the invitation the people spontaneously erupted in prayer…calling upon the Lord for salvation. I still led them in an “official” prayer of salvation, but I think that the Lord heard the cry of their hearts first.

A young girl who was born blind was healed tonight. I have been imagining what it must be like to have never seen anything in your life and suddenly your eyes are opened and before you is this spectacular sight of 200,000 people. What an amazing thing.

Crowd Explosion

December 7th, 2007

Tonight the tide rose on every level. More people, more miracles, more excitement and more salvations. The crowd nearly tripled tonight going from 60,000 last night to 160,000 tonight! Evangelist Bonnke preached a classic message about the Blood of Jesus and broke the curses of the land calling them by name. After the prayer for the sick there seemed to be an explosion of the miraculous. All over the field dozens of crutches were being held high as former cripples made their way to the platform to testify. It was a whirlwind of salvations, healings and miracles…praise the Lord!

Mighty Miracles!

December 6th, 2007

Tonight was the first night of the CfaN crusade here in Abakaliki. There was no warm up necessary…it started out with a bang. Everyone had come with great expectation and they were not disappointed.

There are certain aspects of these crusades that you cannot experience unless you are there to see it. My favorite one is after the prayer for the sick; all over the crusade grounds there are pockets of activity. Everywhere you look something is happening. Over here someone’s crutches have gone up in the air and everyone around them is going wild. On the other side someone is being delivered from a demon. Tonight, the whole field was a boiling cauldron of activity. All the commotion caused a cloud of dust to rise up from beneath the thousands of feet nearly obscuring vision, but out of the cloud came powerful testimonies of God’s healing power.
