Dear Misson-Partners,

This morning the Fire Conference came to a climax as Peter van den Berg preached the final message (see the attached picture) and then we prayed for the thousands of pastors and church workers who were present.  There was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  We even heard testimonies of people who spontaneously received miraculous healings as the Fire was falling!

Tonight the crowd grew to 225,000 and as the Gospel was being preached they listened with such attentiveness one could have heard a pin drop.  After the prayer of salvation we prayed once again for the baptism into the Holy Spirit; this time over the huge crowd.  All kinds of manifestations, deliverances and miracles took place including the deliverance of a woman who was insane for the last 8-years (see attached picture).  Also a boy, deaf from birth, was healed, lumps in a woman breasts vanished, a broken shoulder was healed and many more.

We have one more meeting tomorrow night and I am sure that Jesus has saved the best for last!  Please continue to bombard Heaven for us and for the precious people of Okigwe.

Dear Mission-Partners,

Tonight I preached about the precious blood of Jesus. The people were so responsive and attentive, drinking in every word and making decisions to follow Jesus in huge numbers! Then I prayed over them, breaking every devilish curse in the name of Jesus and miracles began to pop up like popcorn. From the front of the to the back people were rejoicing everywhere as the power of God swept across the field healing bodies and setting captives free.

We heard wonderful testimonies tonight, including one from a little girl who had been deaf and dumb from birth, a crippled man who can now walk and a little boy who was blind for 5 years but now can see! It is as though Heaven has kissed the earth here in Okigwe, Nigeria.

Tomorrow the Fire Conference comes to a close. Please pray for the thousands of pastors and church workers who will come hungry to receive an impartation of Holy Spirit Fire. More to come tomorrow.

Boy demonstrates his healing after being blind for 5-years

Okigwe, Nigeria is a city on fire!  The crowd nearly tripled tonight and the dynamics are awesome!  The chairman of the campaign said that he’s never seen anything like this in Okigwe.  After preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick, all over the field things began to happen.  Crutches and wheelchairs were being raised into the air as cripples began to walk.  We could hear rejoicing coming from every direction as healings were manifested.  A paralytic was healed as well as a man brought on a stretcher foaming at the mouth along with a deaf mute.  But the greatest miracle remains the thousands of people that repented of their sins and surrendered their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ tonight.

Tomorrow I will confront the demonic powers that bind many of these people with fear.  We will break the curses and Jesus will set the captives free.  Thank you for continuing to pray for us.

Deaf and dumb girl hears and speaks for the first time in her life!

Dear Mission-Partners,

Another historic harvest has begun here in Okigwe, Nigeria!  Our campaign is taking place on a walled soccer field, but the wall had to be torn down to accommodate the crowds!  This is but the first of many walls that will come down this week as the power of the Gospel shatters every barrier and obliterates every satanic defense. 

Tonight was like living in the New Testament.  The Gospel was preached, thousands responded and signs and wonders accompanied the message. 

-        A woman testified that she had pain in her stomach for 6 years, but tonight as I was praying for those with tumors, she said suddenly she felt something moving in her stomach and she felt a cold sensation come over her.  Afterwards the pain was totally gone!

-        As one man ascended the steps of the platform to give his testimony, the people began to talk and shout.  I said, “Do you know this man?”  They shouted back, “Yes…we know him.”  He was well known in Okigwe as a mad man.  But he told me with a calm and pleasant voice that Jesus had healed him and the people began to rejoice!

-        A precious elderly lady testified that her left arm had been paralyzed for the past 10 years.  But tonight, after the prayer, it was completely restored!  Hallelujah! 

Tonight is only the beginning and I sense that great things are in store this week.  We covet your prayers!

Dear Mission Partners,

Today there was a massive thunderstorm in the afternoon and I wondered if anyone would brave the weather to attend the open-air meeting.  When we pulled up to the swampy field, where the rain was still drizzling and saw over 160,000 people gathered, standing in the mud I was so touched.  Rev. Peter Van den berg, who has been the vice-president of CfaN for 30-years said that it was the muddiest crusade field he has ever seen!  Yet the people were not hindered.  It is really a vivid testimony to the extraordinary hunger of the people and I am sure that Heaven has taken note.

After preaching the Gospel and leading the people in the prayer of salvation, we prayed for the sick and wonderful miracles happened.  A woman who was deaf in one ear for 10-years was healed along with a madman, a demon possessed woman and others.  Have a look at the attached pictures of a woman who was blind for 6-years but now can see.

Thank you for praying for us and for sending us to Akure…it has been worth every effort and every dollar.  We now are looking forward to our next campaign in Ogbomosho in just three weeks and pray that the Lord will help us with the finances.  Please continue to stand with us in this historic season of harvest.

A woman blind for 6 years but can now see!

Greetings from Stockholm, Sweden.

I am just reflecting on the amazing week we just had in Karu, Nigeria.  Over the 5 days of meetings more than 1.3 MILLION people attended.  Multitudes were saved, delivered, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit.  One of the miracles that stands out to me happened on the second night to a young lady named Placita Outa.  She had undergone a number of surgeries to repair severe damage to her spinal cord that she received in an accident.  After the final surgery, she was left paralyzed and had to rely fully on crutches and the help of others to move around.

While I was still praying for the sick at the end of the service on Thursday, I suddenly heard a great commotion coming from the right side of the field.  A large group of people began to shout for joy and when I looked, I saw crutches being held over someone’s head and they were moving towards the platform very quickly.  The following is the testimony of an eyewitness by the name of Thomas Gana who commented on this blog that same night.

He says, “I was standing very close to the lady who had the spinal cord injury and was using crutches but got healed tonight.  I was standing very close to her in the crowd.  For most part of the meeting she sat down on a chair and stood up at intervals with the aid of her crutches.  I often turned back to look at her as I also believed God for her healing to. As Evangelist Kolenda prayed, she stood up and as the prayer went on, suddenly I felt somebody hit me and scream, ‘I can walk’.

She started running forward through the crowd and left her crutches.  I was the one that picked up her crutches and ran after her to give it to her before climbing the stage to meet the man of God.  God is awesome.  There was another miracle shortly before the man of God was rounded up the prayers and handed over the microphone.  Somebody on wheel chair jumped up and started walking. The wheel chair was raised up as the person walked forward…people started shouting as the person moved forward. I expected the man of God to see the wheel chair raised up before he handed over the microphone but Im sure he didn’t see it.  That miracle happened not in the middle of the crowd but at the left hand side not far from the stage.  I expect that the person who received the miracle will show up to testify tomorrow.  God is awesome.  God bless you man of God.  I look forward to greater miracles by God’s power.”

Normally when people come forward to give testimony of their healing, we have a team of staff members that will test them out to make sure that what they are claiming is genuine before I invite them to come up onto the platform to testify.  But when I saw the look on this woman’s face, I knew for sure that Jesus had done something wonderful and so I called her up to the platform immediately.

She came with her only sister who was in total shock.  Throughout the entire time the testimony was being given the two of them were embracing and weeping and worshipping God for the miracle.  It was very moving.  That night, not only did Placita receive her healing, but she gave her heart to Jesus.  Later she said, “I think it was because of me that they organized a crusade in Karu” (see the video above).  Truly, If we had only come for Placita it would have been well worth the trouble.  But the reality is that she is only one of hundreds of thousands of people who’s lives were touched last week.  Praise the Lord!

Residents in the Nigerian village of Karu are seeing an outpouring of healing miracles, with the deaf hearing, lame walking and a man healed of mental illness.

So says Daniel Kolenda, an evangelist with Christ for All Nations, a Florida-based ministry founded by Reinhard Bonnke that has been leading crusades across Africa for more than 30 years.

In an email report about CfaN’s Karu crusade this week, Kolenda said a woman who had been crippled by a spinal cord injury rushed onto the platform with her crutches raised over her head. Another woman who had been deaf for 20 years reportedly was able to hear, and a young man who was unable to use the right side of his body for 11 years was miraculously healed…..(Continued)

Dear Mission Partners,

We have just received word from our campaign director, during the 5 days of last week 362,978 people received Jesus as their Savior and completed a decision card in Takum, Nigeria! Praise be to God! Jesus saves, heals and delivers.

Thank you so much for all your help and prayers.  Now the rainy season begins in West Africa, but preparations are already underway and we are eagerly anticipating our next campaign in August and we pray for the necessary funds.

We have just returned from the final meeting of our final campaign of the season here in Takum, Nigeria and Jesus saved the best for last.

The attendance topped 185,000 tonight in this remote place!  Every external indicator has proven that God has done something remarkable here.  This morning the pastors testified that their churches were flooded with new converts. Each night our barrels were filled with witchcraft items to be burned.  The response to the Gospel preaching was huge. Thousands were filled with the Holy Spirit and we received many testimonies of miraculous healings included several remarkable ones tonight.

Among them were a man who was crippled for 5 years but now can walk, a young man who restored to his right mind after years of insanity and a young woman who had been dragging her crippled legs around since she was eight years old…now she can walk.  Also another large contingent of Fulani Muslim people received Jesus Christ tonight and has become true Christians.  Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow we begin the long voyage home.  Thank you so much for standing shoulder to shoulder with us in this historic harvest of souls; both prayerfully and financially.  We see ourselves as co-workers together with you and with Jesus for the sake of the harvest and the best is yet to come in Jesus name!

Today has been a Holy Spirit day from morning to night.  The grand finale meeting of the Fire Conference was absolutely packed by 6:00 AM.  The people came out by the thousands to receive an impartation of Holy Spirit Fire. We laid hands on the senior pastors and sent them out into the huge crowd like the fiery foxes of Samson to pray for all the delegates (have a look at the attached picture).

Tonight after the prayer for salvation, the Holy Spirit fell again on the crowd of 125,000.  Everywhere I looked I could see incredible things happening.  I immediately began to pray for the sick and mighty miracles began to break out.

A man who was blind and crippled in his hands and feet received total and instantaneous healing.  I told him that we would test his eyes, hands and feet all at the same time and I asked him to catch me.  I was amazed at how quick and strong he was.  He was overflowing with joy. “I’m so very happy,” he told me (see the attached picture).

A precious woman also received multiple miracles tonight; her deaf ears and blind eyes were all opened (see attached picture).

Also, a man whose left side was paralyzed from a stroke, a man who had tuberculosis and a boy who was crippled for two years all were healed together with many others…Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow night is the final meeting here in Takum and we are looking for one more huge harvest.  Thank you for your ongoing prayers.
