Goodbye – From Burkina Faso (VIDEO)

post by Daniel Kolenda on January 30th, 2012

Our Gospel Campaign in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is now over. Hundreds of thousands responded to the call for salvation, many wonderful miracles took place, and the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the multitudes. We are rejoicing! I am just about to meet with some of the local pastors and government officials and soon I will be headed home. But before I go I wanted to share this special video message with you from the field last night. Thank you again for all the prayer and love.

Rome is on Fire…AGAIN!

March 21st, 2010

Last night we had a powerful service here in Rome. We were scheduled to minister in a local church, but the response to the meeting was so overwhelming that it was moved to a much larger neutral venue in the heart of the city. It was absolutely packed, with people having to stand down the isles. Evangelist Bonnke preached the Gospel and I wept as I heard it again as though it was the first time. There is no doubt that many were really and truly born again…Praise the Lord!…….(Continued)

The Roman authorities were concerned about the new sect of Judaism that had sprung up whose radical adherents refused to worship the emperor, choosing rather to worshipped one God/Man…a King above all Kings. Tacitus, a Roman historian, echoed the sentiment of his day calling Christianity, “A deadly superstition” …..(continued)

Running to Win (With Pics from the Vatican)

March 16th, 2010

(Look to the end of this email for more pictures from Rome!)

The other day my father-in-law, together with a young minister from his congregation, went out door-to-door inviting the folks in his neighborhood to attend some revival services that were being held at the church where he pastors. He encountered one old man that claimed to be highly educated and very knowledgeable about the Bible. In fact this old man decided to impress the pastor and his young colleague by telling them something about the Bible that they didn’t know. “Do you know who wrote the book of Titus?” he asked. My father-in-law replied, “Yes, it was Paul the Apostle”. “Wrong”, the old man retorted, “It was written by a Roman emperor”

his would have been a very easy argument to win…..(Continued)

The sites here are just to historical and fascinating to pass by. We will be visiting the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Catacombs and more. am looking forward to a wonderful week, not only of ministry, but of education as well. I am taking lots of pictures for you while I am here…and every day this week I will post some of them along with my daily devotions. I hope you enjoy it!
