The Decision Card Count is in! – Freetown, Sierra Leon

post by Daniel Kolenda on April 30th, 2012

We’ve received the wonderful report that 301,790 people returned completed decision cards at our most recent campaign in Freetown, Sierra Leone indicating that they have made a decision to follow Jesus. These individuals have now been entered into our follow up system and local churches will be overflowing with new converts.

Thank you for standing with us to make this campaign possible. We are now trusting the Lord for the finance for our next campaign in Uganda. Please continue to pray with us that every need would be met.

Discovering God’s Will For Your Life – Part 3

February 8th, 2010

Over the past two days I have been addressing the question of how to discern God’s will for your life. I have found that most people seeking God’s will fit into one of two categories. I have dealt with the first category already; those who have absolutely no direction. Today I would like to deal with the second category; those who have a sense of what God has called them to do, but don’t know how to get from where they are now to where they know they are supposed to be.

One young man told me, “I have a desire to start a prayer ministry that will go on 24-hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year”. He was full of dreams, but hadn’t the slightest clue how to get there. My advice to him was simple:start with one night per week. If that was too much, do one night per month. The key is to do what you can do…begin to move in the direction of your calling.

Another young man approached me after a service with tears in his eyes. “I am called to be an evangelist like you” he told me. He said, “I am going to preach to multitudes and win millions to Christ”. But he went on to explain that no pastor would invite him to come and preach

Discovering God’s Will For Your Life – Part 2

February 5th, 2010

Today I continue my advice for those that are seeking God’s will for their lives yet they have not received a positive sense of direction.

In II Kings 3:11, Elisha is described as the one, “…Which poured water on the hands of Elijah”.

When we think of Elisha, we generally think of a great prophet, a mighty man of God, a giant of the faith. It is easy to forget that Elisha started out as nothing more than a servant to Elijah; pouring water over Elijah’s hands and serving him in day-to-day banalities. But his posture of servant hood put him in a position to receive a mantle…. (Continued)

Discovering God’s Will For Your Life – Part 1

February 4th, 2010

Are you seeking God’s will for your life? If so, you are not alone. Questions regarding God’s will are among the most frequent ones I encounter as I minister around the world. It seems that, regardless of the country, continent, race, culture, gender or age, people everywhere are searching for, and desiring to fulfill, God’s will for their lives.

Generally I have found that these seekers fit into one of two categories, and I would like to address each one separately over the next few days

The first category is those that have no idea what God’s will is for their lives….(Continued)

Jesus the Life Saver

I wanted to share this with everybody. Below is an audio file from a message that Evangelist Bonnke preached just recently in Cape Town, South Africa. It is a powerful and exemplary evangelistic message that resulted in a massive altar call followed by signs and wonders. To hear it, simply click the audio player below. I encourage you to listen to it and share it.

The Fire of God in the Pearl of Africa

March 26th, 2009

I must say…I feel invigorated. With the Crusade in Bali, Nigeria completed, we came straight to Cape Town South Africa for the South African Fire Conference and Evangelism Summit hosted by Christ for all Nations. We had a powerful weekend of ministry and also managed to squeeze in some much needed recreational time. Cape Town is “The Pearl of Africa” and our lodge sat in the shadow of Table Mountain, South Africa’s signature landmark, giving us a spectacular view of both the mountains and the bay.

On Friday the Fire Conference began. Evangelist Bonnke preached first on the Holy Spirit and then I followed. That evening Evangelist Bonnke preached one of the most phenomenal Gospel messages I have ever heard. The altars were packed and salvation was flowing like a river. He later shared with me one of his secrets to powerful Gospel preaching. He said that once he has thrown the net out (the net being the core of his message) then he concentrates on closing holes in the net. The holes are any objections to what he has preached. He is concentrating on taking away any excuses that someone might have for getting saved. With each hole that is closed, more fish are caught. I can say that it definitely works.

OVER HALF A MILLION IN THE FINAL MEETING

February 17th, 2009

I am sitting in Frankfurt, Germany now on my way home. As I reflect on the events of the past week, there is only one word that comes to mind…”MIRACULOUS”. It started with the way the funds came in supernaturally just before the crusade was cancelled. And then throughout the week, it was one miracle after another. I have so many things that I still want to post about this trip, and I will be doing that for the next couple of days. Below is the report from the final meeting

EXTRAORDINARY MIRACLES- Isoko, Nigeria Crusade; Day Four

January 24th, 2009

Tonight the miracles were amazing. I am still in awe of what the Lord has done. You will read a couple of the testimonies in the “official” report below:

Dear Mission-Partners,

The Fire Conference climaxed today. Peter van den Berg and Daniel Kolenda ministered – and the Holy Spirit fell as described in Acts 2. Tens of thousands of God’s people received the power that Jesus spoke about in Acts 1:8. What glorious reality!
